Galion-Godwin Truck Bodies | 140 Years of Innovation and Quality

Galion-Godwin Truck Body Co. LLC has been family-owned for nearly 140 years, pioneering durable dump body solutions from carbon and stainless steel. Trusted by municipalities, construction teams, and landscapers, Galion-Godwin combines innovation with reliability to meet heavy-duty truck needs nationwide.

Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel Dump Bodies for Sale

Galion-Godwin uses the strongest materials. Carbon steel has incredible strength and durability, making it ideal for transporting abrasive materials like gravel or construction waste.

Choose stainless steel if you transport corrosive materials or work in a harsh environment. The material’s biggest advantage is its ability to resist moisture and chemicals. It also requires less maintenance than carbon steel and usually lasts longer.

Underbody Hoists for Demanding Applications

Underbody hoists make loading much more efficient. You’ll find them most beneficial for waste management, construction, or agriculture. They provide the following benefits:

Increased stability: The lower center of gravity for an under-mounted hoist improves truck stability and reduces tipping.

Compact design: These features take up less space and increase how flexible you can configure the truck.

Enhanced durability: Underbody hoists are best for heavy and frequent loads that traditional models can’t handle.

Smoother operation: By incorporating hydraulic systems and precision engineering, you gain smoother and more nuanced control of other lifting.

Greater affordability: Mounting the hoist beneath the truck usually costs less than on the front.

Incredible versatility: An underbody feature can work on almost any size truck.

Consistent, Industry-Leading Product Innovation

If you want access to the latest innovations in industrial trucking, you won’t find a more reliable option than Galion-Godwin. Are you aware of all the features you can add to make your business safer and more efficient?

Municipal clients love dump bodies that they can use for multiple purposes. With combination bodies, they can also use the truck to spread salt and manage ice and snow on roads. These trucks can also include integrated brine systems for enhanced road treatment.

Many companies use their truck beds to transport abrasive or corrosive materials. Adding special coatings helps reduce the frequency of repairs while extending the body’s life expectancy. Consider installing an automated tarping system so you can cover your loads easily.
