Royal Truck & Utility Trailer: Your Source for High-Quality Dump Trailers

Dump trailers are open-box trailers with hydraulic lifting mechanisms that allow the bed’s front end to rise and make the materials inside it fall out of the trailer’s rear. They allow businesses to haul and unload loose materials quickly and efficiently. Unlike dump trucks, dump trailers have a high load capacity, which is essential for various applications within different industries.

Buying the right dump trailer takes time and knowledge, yet Royal Truck & Utility Trailer offers personalized services and quality products. Our inventory includes versatile dump trailers to accommodate any need.

Key Features of Dump Trailers

Dump trailer features are plentiful due to the many configurations they offer. The primary feature is the trailer’s lifting mechanism, which falls into three categories:

  • Scissor lifts with a single hydraulic cylinder to extend one side of the trailer bed
  • Dual piston lifts to raise the trailer’s front end so that it hangs above its back end
  • Telescopic lifts with a single cylinder around the middle of the trailer’s front end

Dump trailers‘ sturdy construction and various load capacities also make them ideal for heavy-duty hauling. At Royal Truck & Utility Trailer, we offer an aluminum dump trailer by MAC that’s 40 feet long with a 64K beam as well as 39-foot-long MAC steel dump trailer with an 80K beam.

Benefits of Heavy-Duty Dump Trailers

Dump trailers offer outstanding heavy-duty hauling capabilities. Top manufacturers build them using high-quality metals like lightweight aluminum and durable steel, ensuring the hauling equipment can withstand harsh working conditions and heavy cargo. Their design and construction promote long-term use, especially with routine maintenance.

These trailers are also cost-effective in more ways than one. For instance, they tend to be less expensive than dump trucks and have higher load capacities. As such, you can spend less to haul more.

The ease at which teams can fill and unload dump trailers also increases job site productivity, which is another key benefit. Enhanced productivity can also lead to savings on labor expenses and delivery delays.

Versatile Applications of Dump Trailers

Dump trailers‘ versatility and ability to handle different jobs make them useful in many industries. Construction projects often use them for hauling loose materials like gravel, sand, concrete, and other materials. Thanks to the trailers’ simple unloading process, builders use this equipment to remove demolition or construction debris from job sites and dispose of them at the appropriate locations.

The agricultural industry also uses dump trailers regularly. Farmers often use these trailers to easily transport crops, livestock feed, soil, and other farming materials. Similar dump trailer usage applies to landscaping professionals who need to haul and unload soil, plants, and mulch at various client locations.

Choosing the Right Dump Trailer

Getting a dump trailer isn’t a simple decision to make. As with any other hauling and transportation equipment, you must ensure that your selection will best accommodate your needs.

Thankfully, dump trailers are highly versatile so you can find a suitable option with excellent performance. Consider the following factors to make an informed decision about a dump trailer purchase:

Weight Capacity

Though dump trailers are great for heavy-duty hauling, some options have better load capacities than others.

Hydraulic System

It’s best to invest in a trailer with a quality hydraulic system for easy cargo loading and unloading.

Size

Dump trailers are available in multiple sizes from 24 to 53 feet.

Dump trailers are also fully customizable. Select your preferred axle configuration, trailer bed width, color, and tires.
